Intouch Relocations has teamed up with Translating Me Johannesburg to host a monthly event, targeting supporting partners who are new to Johannesburg. The events aim to show newcomers what is great about Johannesburg and to allow them to meet other expatriates living in Johannesburg. The themes change each month, covering areas of interest to the network, such as how to continue your career as a freelancer, South African food, wine, fashion and design and more.
Our experience has shown that expatriates who find a sense of purpose and build a support network of likeminded people ion their new location, tend to have a more rewarding expatriate experience and be more happily settled. Hannah Pirnie, founder of Translating Me, believes you should leave a place better then you found it and, as an expatriate herself who has been to several locations in the world, is passionate about sharing her experiences and helping others gain a unique perspective.
Augusts event will be hosted at Wombles steakhouse in Bryanston and will be a wine and steak appreciation evening.
